Participation in training in the field of environmental law organized for judges, prosecutors, environmental inspectors and police officers of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Judicial Academy in cooperation with the UNDP of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized a three-day training on the topic: “Criminal protection of the environment”. The training was held from September 20 to 22, 2023 in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was intended for judges, prosecutors, environmental inspectors and police officers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the first day of training Prof. Dr. Mirjana Drenovak-Ivanović, Jean Monnet Chair in European Environmental and Climate Change Law, presented research on the role of the Treaty of Lisbon in the development of EU environmental law and the role of the European Court of Justice with reference to the recent practice of the European Court of Human Rights.
