The University of Belgrade signed a cooperation agreement with the Hague Conference on Private International Law

On Thursday, the 2nd of July, 2020, the University of Belgrade signed a cooperation agreement with the Hague Conference on Private International Law. The coordinator for the implementation of this agreement will be the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. In that way, closer cooperation was established between one of the most prestigious and best-ranked universities in South-East Europe and one of the oldest and the most reputable organizations for global unification of rules of private international law.

The online signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr Ivanka Popović, the Rector of the University of Belgrade, Dr Christophe Bernasconi, the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, Mr Brody Warren, the Attaché to the Secretary General, Ms Ksenija Milenković, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Prof. Dr Zoran Mirković, the Dean of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, and Prof. Dr Jelena Lepetić, the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation.
