The University of Belgrade Faculty of Law had the opportunity to host Ms Marrisa Molé Bostick, Attorney and Law Professor from the United States of America. Ms Bostick held a series of lectures on the topic “Legal Writing and U.S. Drug Crimes” from November 1 to November 14, 2019.
During the additional course, students and postgraduate students of the University of Belgrade Law School had the opportunity to got acquainted, in an interactive way, with the crucial features of criminal proceedings in the USA. The lectures were devoted to sources of law, theoretical background and practical skills in legal writing, as well as understanding and distinguishing precedents. Through case studies, students have improved their knowledge of legal argumentation, basic and cross-examination, and final word. The case studies have raised a number of course attendees’ questions.
