Cooperation Agreement Signed with the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights
On 4 March 2016 an agreement on academic cooperation was signed between the Human Rights Centre of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) from Austria. The broad objectives of this Agreement are to promote cooperation in teaching and research, to facilitate the realization of international projects and to enhance the scholarly efforts of the Partner institutions.
In order to pursue the expressed aims of this Agreement, the Partner institutions commit themselves, subject to the availability of funds and within their legal and statutory limits:
- to encourage the temporary exchange of teachers, researchers and students,
- to promote bilateral and multilateral activities, projects and programmes,
- to exchange publications and other research and training materials,
- to cooperate in any other way that both Parties find useful and important for their mission,
with regard to the topics: democracy, rule of law and human rights.
On behalf of the Human Rights Centre of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law the Agreement was signed by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sima Avramović, whereas the Agreement was signed on behalf of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) by Prof. Dr. Sc. Hannes Tretter, Administrative and Co-Scientific Director of the Institute, in the presence of Ass. Prof. Dr. Milena Djordjević, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and Ass. Prof. Dr. Ivana Krstić, director of the Human Rights Centre of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
