Series of lectures in the field of Constitutional Law held by Professor Enrico Albanesi from the Law Department of the University of Genoa

Guest lecturer Enrico Albanesi, Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Genoa – Department of Law, held a series of lectures in the field of Constitutional Law at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Law from 24th to 26th of April 2023. The lectures were devoted to the topic of the relationship between the Constitutional Court of Italy, the European Court of Human Rights and the Italian ordinary courts, as well as the model for multicultural territories in Europe, which was discussed through the analysis of the special status of the province of Trentino-Alto Adige (South Tyrol). After each lecture, the audience had a large number of questions and comments, due to which different opinions regarding raised topics were expressed in the interactive discussion.

On Wednesday 26th of April, 2023, Professor Albanesi, who is also a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) of the University of London within the framework of the IALS Law Reform Project, was welcomed by the Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Marko Jovanović, Dr. Ivana Rodić, who is in charge of international cooperation and assistant Đorđe Marković. Possibilities for establishing cooperation between the two law faculties within the Erasmus+ project, as well as other forms of academic cooperation, were discussed at the meeting.
