Participation of members of the Club for United Nations in the official visit of the Vice-President of India to Serbia
Students of our Faculty, members of the Club for United Nations, had the honour to be a part of the operational team during the official visit of the Vice-President of India, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, in mid-September 2018. The proposal for cooperation came from the Embassy of India. Our students Milena Nikolić, Sanja Petrović and Nenad Stanikić were appointed to be liaison officers, while Sara Petrović was appointed to serve as media officer. The students had a chance to learn about many things regarding official visits of foreign dignitaries, including the organization, protocol, but also the ways of solving problems that turn up along the way, as well as to meet diplomats, politicians and employees of the Ministry of the External Affairs of India, to talk to them and learn from their experience. They have strengthened the contact with the Embassy of India in Belgrade and made new ones with the Indian diplomats from Beijing and Tunis, as well as the representatives of the Ministry of External Affairs of India. This was the first chance for the members of the Club for UN to use in a professional manner all the experience they have gained from numerous international conferences. The best proof of the quality of their work were the praises of the delegates themselves, who were highly satisfied with the professionalism, hospitality and enthusiasm of our students.
