Third Student Conference in Theory and Philosophy of Law
The Third Student Conference in Theory and Philosophy of Law on the topic of “The Judiciary”, organized by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the Serbian Association for Legal and Social Philosophy, took place on 21 October 2016 in the Conference Hall of the Faculty.
Professor Radmila Vasić and the judge of the Belgrade Court of Appeals, Dr. Miodrag Majić, welcomed the participants with introductory speeches. The keynote paper was presented by Ms. Valerija Grozdić (LL.M.) – teaching assistant at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
The Conference was divided into four sessions in which domestic and foreign students of undergraduate, master and doctoral studies had the opportunity to present their current research papers about theoretical and practical issues regarding the authority of judges, their position in the Serbian legal system, as well as the topics important for the judiciary in general.
The best papers will be published in the Annals of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and in the Yearbook of the Institute for Legal and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Law.
