The Faculty’s over 100 professors and teaching and research assistants are organised in eight departments, gathering related subjects: the Department of Civil Law, the Department of Public Law, the Department of Criminal Law, the Department of International Law and International Relations, the Department of Economics, the Department of Legal History, the Department of Theory, Sociology and Philosophy of Law, the Section for Foreign Languages.
Annals of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade is the oldest Balkan academic law journal, having been founded in 1906 by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law as Archive for Legal and Social Sciences
The project crucially focuses on efforts that will allow the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade to become an internationally competitive European research institution, by raising its academic research profile and by strengthening its research management and administrative capabilities
