NEW INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BELGRADE – FACULTY OF LAW: LAW AND GENDER, INTERSECTIONALITY AND DIVERSITY (LAWGID)
The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Law is proud to announce that, as the coordinating institution, together with its partner universities Örebro University (Sweden) and Libera Università Maria Santissima Assunta – LUMSA (Italy), it has been awarded funding by the European Commission under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scheme for the implementation of the new joint international master’s programme: LAWGID – Law and Gender, Intersectionality and Diversity
This innovative and interdisciplinary master’s programme will commence in the 2026/2027 academic year. Students will have the unique opportunity to complete the first semester at the University of Belgrade, the second semester at LUMSA University in Palermo (Italy), the third semester at Örebro University (Sweden), while the fourth semester is dedicated to the preparation and defence of the Master’s thesis.
The programme is designed as a comprehensive combination of contemporary legal and interdisciplinary courses within a strong European and international legal framework, with a particular focus on gender, intersectionality and diversity.
Upon successful completion of the LAWGID master studies students are awarded with three diplomas from all partner universities.
Within the LAWGID master’s programme, Erasmus Mundus scholarships will be available to the most successful candidates from around the world.
