On Tuesday, May 11th, 2021, our faculty was visited by Prof. Dr Sergei Nikolaevich Baburin (Сергeй Николаевич Бабурин), scientific director of the Center for Integration and Civilization Research of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences. At the meeting with our dean, Prof. Dr Zoran Mirković, Prof. Baburin discussed broader aspects of Serbian-Russian relations in science and culture, as well as the historical significance of the legal profession for university education. An agreement was signed at the meeting between the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the Center for Integration and Civilization Research, which implies joint efforts in scientific and educational cooperation to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation in Europe, to develop scientific and cultural ties between Slavic peoples, with the possibilities of joint scientific projects, organizing conferences or publishing endeavours.
