Student team of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law has been selected to participate in the Oral Rounds of the 2019 Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Law Moot
We are pleased to announce that the student team of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law has been selected to participate in the Oral Rounds of the 2019 Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Law Moot, the most eminent students’ competition in the world in the field of international insolvency law and international commercial litigation. The Oral Rounds are to be held on 29th – 31st March at Singapore Management University, Singapore.
Among many teams from prestigious universities around the world, our team has been selected to participate in the final stage of the competition, as the only team from the Balkan region and alongside eleven other teams from the USA, the UK, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore, etc. Independent experts and judges in the field of insolvency law thoroughly examined written submissions filed by the registered teams and marked the Belgrade team’s submissions as one of the best. The members of our team are Aleksandra Čvorović, Anđelija Milićević, Pavle Erić and Andrej Zorić, who have been working hard for already five months to represent our faculty in the best light, under the guidance of their couch Nikola Ilić, Assistant Lecturer at the Belgrade Faculty of Law. Our team is headed by the two outstanding professors, Prof. Dr Vuk Radović and Prof. Dr Branko Radulović, whose professional advice and strong commitment give the students a broad base of support.
The participation of our team in the final rounds in Singapore is possible due to the generous help provided by the Assistant Professor Milena Djordjevic, moot court coordinator at the faculty and the sponsors of the team: IFC and the Debt Resolution and Business Exit Project, Deloitte Serbia, Wolf Theiss Serbia, Law Office Moravčević Vojnović i Partneri in cooperation with Schoenherr and Law Office Kosić.
